Your health and safety are of utmost importance, and we are committed to providing you with timely information about developments in the COVID-19 situation. Over the recent days, we have been informed of multiple instances of where employees have tested positive for COVID-19. To protect privacy, we will not be sharing information about any infected individuals except to say that we wish them the swiftest recovery possible and that our thoughts are with them.

As you know, our plant operations are suspended for this week and next (April 4th thru April 18th). Our intention was to resume operations on Monday April 20th but that will now change because we want to allow sufficient time for anyone who might be ill to make a full recovery.

J&G Foods will now remain closed through April 25th with a planned re-opening of Monday April 27th. Our employees will continue to be paid for this time.

J&G Foods is designated as an “essential business” that is needed to operate and supply meat proteins through-out the USA. To do this, we must have a healthy workforce. Each and every one of us plays an important role in protecting the health for all of us. Please heed the recommendations to protect yourself, your family and your J&G teammates.

Important!

Please note: Theresa will be in the office on Thursday’s and Friday’s from 10am-3pm while the plant is closed so that employees can pick up their pay checks. Please go to office entrance and ring the bell. Employees will only be given their paycheck. If someone else will be getting your check for you, you will need to make prior arrangements by emailing Kara Mayo at karamayo@jgfoods.com
